Econiche House is easily reachable from all points in Ottawa-Hull-Gatineau. It is 15 minutes from all Ottawa River Bridges if you follow these instructions.

First get to the access route of Hwy. 307 going north either:

From the East - take the Vanier Parkway North to Old St. Patrick St. Turn LEFT and then RIGHT onto King Edward Ave going North. Cross the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge and take the second exit onto Hwy 50 toward Montreal and Gatineau. After 2-3 km, take the first exit #138 (Saint Louis & Hwy 307). From this point travel 12 km North.

From the West - take the Ottawa River Parkway and cross the Portage Bridge to Hull. Proceed straight to the end of Boul. Maisonneuve and take Hwy 5 North, and staying right, take Hwy. 50 toward Montreal & Gatineau. After 2.3 Km, take the first exit #138 (Saint Louis & Hwy 307). From this point travel 12 km North.

From the Alonzo Wright Bridge - turn north onto Hwy. 307. From this point travel 8.5 Km.

After traveling the appropriate Kms on Hwy 307, you will next turn LEFT onto CH. River on a sweeping curve to the right. To locate the turnoff, watch for the YELLOW DIAGONAL SIGN WITH A RED FIRE TRUCK ON IT located on the right side of the road just prior to Ch. River.

Travel down Ch. River for 0.5 Km. passing by the fire station and 4 small bungalows. Watch for the Econiche sign on the right just after the last bungalow in this row. Travel up our lane to Econiche House. We are not visible from River Road.

You will know if you have missed the Ch. River (River Road) turnoff from HWY 307 if you see the signs for Mont Cascades, which is approximately 1 Km too far.
